Charlotte Rosenberg – Cantorial Soloist

Charlotte Rosenberg has been a cantorial soloist at Temple of Israel since August 2009.  She has a BFA in theatre from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and a Juris Doctorate from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.  She practiced law until the birth of their twins, Chelsea and Adam.  The Rosenbergs moved to Huntington, New York where Charlotte became a teacher’s aid at Beth Yeladim preschool in 1996 and later a Kindergarten religious school teacher at Temple Beth El of Huntington.  She employed music as an aid in teaching the children about the Torah and the holidays.  She served on the board of Temple Beth El and she also performed in numerous musical productions with the Chutzpah Reperatory Theatre.  She and her family moved to Wilmington in the summer of 2007.

Charles Woodward – Organist

Charles Woodward, the Temple of Israel Organist, is a graduate of Stetson University.  He has been the Organist at Temple of Israel since 1987.  He is a former faculty member at University of North Carolina at Wilmington and has also been the Organist at the First Presbyterian Church for the past 34 years.

Mark Ferrer – Musician

Mark has been a welcome addition to our Shabbat and B’nai Mitzvah services.
